Description
Hello, my name is Monique Montiveros. Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Professionally, a cook on a cruise ship but has stopped for the mean time.
As a cook on board, my position is already on a supervisory level dealing with some paper and computer works aside from my regular duties in the kitchen. Having been onboard, I was exposed to dealing with international customers.
During the pandemic, I worked as an admin assistant for a small ecommerce working along side the owner of the company. Being an admin assistant for a small company, aside from the usual administrative duties, I also handle customer service related duties. Answering call, chats and emails from customers and suppliers. Electronic filling of receipts, basic bookkeeping. And logistics for the company.
Prior to working as a cook, I worked as a purchasing officer for another small restaurant. Again, working along the owners. My duties were inventory of the warehouse and the physical stores. Coordinating orders with the head cooks and bartenders of the venues. Researching potential suppliers, comparing and evaluating offers, and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery. Entering information on a manual database (Excel).
