Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant for Marketing to join our team at Ready Jet Go Travels. As a remote team member, you will play a vital role in executing our marketing strategies by creating compelling content and ensuring consistent communication with our audience. Your primary focus will be on supporting our efforts to attract and engage mid- to luxury-level travelers aged 30-60, helping us inspire our clients to explore the world through our curated travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Content Creation:
- Develop engaging and visually appealing posts for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and others.
- Write captions that reflect our friendly, professional tone and resonate with our audience.
- Schedule and post content consistently using social media management tools.
Blog Post Creation:
- Write informative, SEO-friendly blog articles that highlight destinations, travel tips, and unique experiences.
- Repurpose existing content into fresh formats for the blog.
Email Newsletter Writing:
- Draft engaging email newsletters that align with our tone and provide value to subscribers.
- Highlight travel offers, tips, and exclusive opportunities.
Content Repurposing:
- Adapt and repurpose content across different platforms (e.g., turn blog posts into social media snippets or newsletters).
- Keep content fresh and appealing while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
Marketing Plan Execution:
- Assist in executing components of the marketing plan, including promotional campaigns and lead generation efforts.
- Support with researching trends and best practices for marketing to mid- to luxury-level travelers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in content creation, copywriting, and social media management.
- Strong writing skills with a knack for creating engaging, professional, and occasionally humorous content.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and others) and scheduling tools. We use Publer and will train on its usage.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and email marketing platforms (we currently use FloDesk).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work independently.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and an understanding of luxury travel audiences.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the travel or hospitality industry.
- Graphic design skills using tools like Canva or Adobe.
- Familiarity with analytics tools to measure social media and email campaign performance.
- Experience working in WordPress to post blogs.
Working Hours:
- This is a remote, part-time position. Flexible working hours, with some overlap in availability with agency’s operating hours for collaboration.
Compensation:
- Hourly rate based on qualifications.
